I can't stress how happy I am right now. I know I made quite a lot of threads on my financial situation and I do hope this is the last one I will make.

As you may or may not know, my problems began some months ago and I have since then accumulated a debt of nearly 100,000k$. I filed all due Bankruptcy paperworks and am due to pass in front of the judge on Feb 27th.

Won't happen.

As you might recall it, I had bought some IQW shares at 0.13$ (10,000$ at once)

http://finance.google.com/finance?q=TSE:IQW

I then bought some more (4,000$ approx) at 0.23 and recently bought 2k more at 0.22.

The stock quickly dropped and I was less and less sure, almost about to sell.

Today, it more than doubled.

I wouldn't make the same mistake twice: I sold all my shares and got more than 50,000$ in profits.

Yay?

Now, understand this: 50,000$ is in theory insuffisant, but coupled with another 20,000$ in stocks and 15,000$ in cash... well it's more than enough. Still, it could look like I miss around 20,000$; that's why I decided to, thanks to many good advices I received, sue some of my creditors for the whole sum I owed them AND moral damage. Count in the fees I will cancel and that leaves me with an extra 10,000$ in cash.

Yes, I've litterally turned a bankruptcy situation in a profit situation

It wasn't easy. I was tempted to sell IQW at 0.28. At 0.26. At 0.25. I kept them. And I won. I gambled my life and won. Incredible: I guess there is a god outside checking for me. I still can't believe how lucky I was.

I could keep on ranting about how much calls I've received, how much collection agencies I've shocked (some even called me to congratulate me), about my broker who called me directly on my cellphone to thank me on my "incredible gain" (this is well over any kind of imaginable rate of return) but I think I will just leave this here.

I had some particularly hard experiences. I had enormous stress, enormous problems, strong emotions -- but at the end, I exited stronger. I took my plan and sticked with it. And I won. For once in three months, I've won -- and the jackpot. And you can bet I'll make a nice screenshot. I'll have it encadred.

Thank you EoN. I think I'm going to party tonight.

For curious people, here is a list of debts I plan to pay:

CIBC debt (10,000$+interest+fee)
RY debt (5,000$+interest+fee)
All other bank debts (around 4,000$)
Tutions fees, rent, various legitimate debts ( 4,000$)
Close friends debts (500$)
eBay fee (but no inflated fee) (750$)
Lawyer fee (partly, 1,000$ after social help)
Credit cards (4,000$)

a list of debts I plan NOT to pay:

Paypal fee -- they would have to prove the debt first. Not my fault they emailed everyone (4,000$)
Dentist fee: I'm actually suing him (5,000$ I paid the rest)
Collection fee: Fuck them! (2,000$)
Agent fee: Since I'm paying, this gets cancelled. (2,000$)
All "high-risk interest rates", an interest awarded by credit cards agency after my problems started (1,000$)
All extra- fee incurred for various trouble NOT related to banks (900$)
CORPORATE DEBT: This is a loophole and I won't need to pay it (1,500$)

The money is being transfered to my account as we speak. I'm paying everything back tomorrow. I still can't believe it myself.

You bet I understood my lesson. I made a thread after how I realized scamming finally wasn't the best thing to do. The pain society casted upon me is unjustified, but I do not solve everything by answering with scam and more pain. Much to the opposite, I only risk causing more pain and making the world shittier.

I'm currently working on a 100% legal project. More to come soon!

How'd you end up getting the money in a fairly short time period?
